Next time you plan on visiting a South American Country keep Peru in mind. Taking a Perus tour can be very fulfilling in many levels to many different kinds of tourists. Peru tours have much to offer culture seekers, family travelers, adventure travelers and the everyday traveler as well.

This beautiful country offers three major regions to include in your Peru tours; the coastal region, the highlands and the jungle. Each of these varied regions will delight you with very interesting things to show all travelers involving a mix of culture and fun.

The coastal region can involve some fun in the sun on your Peru tours, of course depending on whether you visit over the Peru summer. There are many beaches near the capital city of Lima but the best ones are situated in northern Peru and are definitely worth visiting, surfers enjoy the great waves which are common around Mancora and other northern towns. A few hours south of Lima you will fine Ica, Paracas and Nazca. In Ica you will have the opportunity to go sand boarding and ride dune biggies on the immense dunes which this particular area is known for. Paracas holds a natural reserve; The Ballestas Islands are home to a large community of sea lions and a variety of sea birds, finally you can also visit the Nazca lines in Nazca. These lines are enormous shapes of animals, plants and humanoids which even today puzzle scientists regarding their origins. These are all locations which are guaranteed to leave a great impression on you

The Jungle region offers some great places to visit such as Iquitos; here you will be able to reach the Amazon rainforest and watch some of the most amazing flora and fauna in the world. This is heaven for all who are interested in taking photographs and want to do some bird watching. This is just one of the many destinations available in the Peru jungle region, there are more which you can include in your Peru tours.

The Peruvian Highland harbors Cusco and in turn it is the access point to arrive at the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. It is one of the newly appointed 7 world wonders and is a destination which calls many tourists every year.
