Peru Vacations and the Inca Trail
The entire country of Peru is something which you can marvel at, the many destinations throughout the country make it an incredible place to visit
during your Peru trips and several tours should and must be included in your Peru vacation packages. Your Peru vacations are centered on being able
to visit certain places with cultural importance which is known throughout the world such as Machu Picchu known as the last stronghold of the Incas
before being taken over by the Spanish conquistadors or as the lost city which was re discovered by sir Hiram Bingham.
Now there are several ways for you to pick during your Peru vacations to reach the lost Inca city but there is one the definitely stands out among
the rest. This is known as the Inca trail and was the traditional way the Inca took to the Andean stronghold for many years. This Inca trail will
take you into the Andean wilderness for several days and nights where you will be able to photograph the unique Andes landscapes, local flora and
curious fauna. During this time you will likely see several llama and alpaca herders along with their animals and children which can be quite
shocking at times. Their lifestyle is vastly different than what you are used to so as you are struggling to hike in the high altitude you will see
little kids running and playing.
Peru vacations should include places in the Coastal region such as Paracas and the Nazca lines or destinations in the Andean region like Machu
Picchu, Cusco, Arequipa, Puno and the places in the Jungle region are great places to visit as well. Think about being up close to the many species
of parrots, macaws, parakeets and various other jungle birds as well as monkeys and maybe even a jaguar!
