Arriving to the City of Nauta (visit). Located on borderline of the Marañon River , 2 hours from the city of Iquitos . Small boat expedition to observe the confluence of the Ucayali and Marañon rivers where the Amazon River forms. Lunch on board and sailing toward the Pacaya/Samiria Reserve. Boat expedition to know the limit between Ucayali and Marañon River . And if the climate allows it we will observe a beautiful amazon sunset. We continued our trip toward waters of the Samiria River . Dinner and spending the night on board.
Day 02
Monday:
Expedition on boat to observe birds in one of the lakes of the Samiria River . Breakfast on board. We will visit The San Martìn de Tipishca Village , we would appreciate the customs and style of life of the villagers. Lunch on board. In this point we can observe the pink and gray dolphin . Dinner on board.
Day 03
Tuesday :
In the morning a long walking and fishing. We will initiate the return to the Marañon River . Sailing down on the Marañon River to Nauta. ¶ Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner. Spend the night on board. We will have an nocturnal expedition to listen to the animals' sounds.
Day 04
Wednesday :
Breakfast on board. An excursion on boat by the borderline of the Reserve, Nauta Caño in order to observe flora and fauna. Lunch on board. Goodbye words by our Captain. Returning to the City of iquitos .

ABOUT ADVENTURE IN THE ARCA CRUISE

The M/V Arca is a 31 passenger steel hulled riverboat which was rebuilt in 1988. In 2001, it was refurbished for speed and comfort on the Amazon. Its 8 twin (lower/upper beds), 2 triple (lower beds) and 3 triple/quadruple (bunk beds) cabins are fitted in Cedar and Amazon Mahogany. Each cabin is air-conditioned and has private bath and shower. There is an enclosed, air-conditioned dining room, a bar, and sun deck areas fore and aft (both covered and uncovered).
The Arca navigates in the Upper Amazon basin and sails up to the Peruvian Andes Foothills cruising through Pacaya Samiria National Reserve and Yurimaguas region. We sail on the Amazon, Marañon and Huallaga rivers. Our riverboat operates from Iquitos to Yurimaguas, gateway to the spectacular foothills of the Andes and the seldom visited Kuelap ruins. This cruise also operates in the reverse and connects with northern Peru.
