Overnight at Suasi Island
Enjoy the experience of the island with an extra night at Suasi.
In the northeastern region of the Lake Titicaca lies Suasi, a private 43 hectare island where everything is different: dawn, rain, storms, twilight. Closer to the sun and the moon, Suasi offers a unique way to know Titicaca, a burst of magic inviting introspection.
There is a hotel located in the small private island of Suasi, one of the most beautiful and special ones within the whole Lake Titicaca.
The hotel is a peaceful viewpoint surrounded by flowers and gardens, rising below a sheltered hill on the northern side of the island. Built with local materials such as wood, stones and totora reed; it operates entirely from solar energy.
There are many options for getting Suasi Island; travelers can get there by land or by lake. For arriving Suasi, we recommend you to take the route by lake (through Uros and Taquile Islands); for coming back to Puno or Juliaca, we recommend you the route by land that goes round the lake through a small road with amazing views.
