Day 1Arrival in Lima

Welcome at Lima airport by our representative, who will then transfer you in a private vehicle to your selected hotel in Lima. You will have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own leisure.

Day 2Lima City and Gastronomic Tour

In the morning, we will introduce you to the history of Peruvian gastronomy. Our culinary adventure begins at a typical “Peruvian Market”. There, you will be able to appreciate a wide variety of Peruvian product and enjoy and taste exotic fruits. Be amazed by the huge variety of fish and seafood our ocean, considered one of the richest in the World, has to offer.

We will also visit an exclusive restaurant “Cala”, situated on the beautiful sea front, where you will have the opportunity to prepare your own “Pisco Sour” and the famous “Ceviche”. Later you will enjoy a delicious lunch, consisting of the most symbolic dishes of Peruvian cuisine.

In the afternoon, you will begin your city tour of Lima, allowing you the opportunity to explore the old and the new Lima on a sightseeing journey. The city tour starts with a visit to the historic Plaza de Armas, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the center of the Plaza is an elaborate bronze fountain dating from 1560. Also located in the Plaza is the Cathedral, one of the most impressive in all of South America, and next to it is the Archbishop’s Palace.

Then you will visit the 17th-century Monastery of San Francisco, famous for its Sevilian tile work, paneled ceiling, and Spanish catacombs in the basement. You will also visit the most traditional residential areas in Lima: the Olive Grove of the San Isidro district, the Miraflores neighborhood, and Larcomar Shopping Center, all distinctive tourist centers of contemporary Lima.

After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3Nazca Lines Flight from Pisco

Early in the morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the bus station where you will take a bus (Cruz del Sur) from Lima to Paracas. On arrival to the bus station in Paracas, you will be greeted and you will be transferred to Pisco airport to fly over the amazing Nazca lines.

From up in the plane you will be able to view the spectacular figures that have been etched into the earth. There are over 70 animal and plant drawings and over 300 geometric figures. Some of the drawings represent a monkey, a spider, a hummingbird, an astronaut, a whale and many more. They have been preserved for almost 2000 years, according to specialists. Flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Paracas.

Day 4Ballestas Islands Tour, Ica City Tour, Dune Buggies and Sandboarding in Huacachina

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the port where you will take a boat to tour around Peru’s famous Ballestas Islands.

Paracas is a national reserve located in the south of Lima. In there, is located the famous and amazing “Ballestas Islands”, where you will see a lot of beautiful families of sea lions, amazing birdlife and penguins, (yes penguins in a hot weather!) The atmosphere is great, with a wide variety of rocky formations and birds.

After the tour, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Ica, where on arrival, you will be greeted and will begin the Ica City Tour by visiting one of the “bodegas” (wineries) where the grape brandy known as pisco is produced. Here you will have a guided tour of all the facilities, so you can learn about pisco and wine and how it is produced. You will be invited to sample a range of Pisco and wine produced in the bodega and you will have the option to purchase items after.

Our tour continues with a visit to the regional museum of Ica. This important museum offers insight on all the cultures that developed in this department, and will see important collections of ceramics, textiles, mummies, deformed skulls and remains of ancient cultures.

Finally, we head to Huacachina where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and take a walk around and take photos of the desert landscape. This place is surrounded by large dunes allows visitors to do activities like sandboarding.

OPTIONAL: The Dune Buggy circuit is 20 km long. We will find dunes of up to 70 meters tall that will be climbed in just seconds. The adrenaline filled ride includes riding some of the biggest dunes in the area.

Also, you will be able to increase your adrenaline by sandboarding down these massive sand dunes. If you just want to relax around the Oasis, then you can enjoy one of the local restaurants and bars whilst watching the sunset.

After the tour, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Lima, where on arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 53 Day Amazon Tour - Day 1

In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Reception at Padre Almirez International airport. Here your professional guide will await you. He will accompany you throughout your stay. From there we will go to our office to obtain the official waterway permits (you can also guard luggage you won’t need during your stay). Meanwhile you can visit the town’s main square and also take some photos of the beautiful scenery overlooking the confluence of the rivers Madre de Dios and Tambopata from Grau square. Embarkation will be at Capitania port, the destination being our lodge. We will navigate approximately 40 minutes on the Madre de Dios River in a typical Amazonian boat.

Please note that activities may change slightly depending on the weather and which lodge you stay at.

Arrival at the Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge. Here we will have a welcome cocktail. Afterwards you will be handed over the keys to your bungalow and we will have lunch. The kitchen of our Lodge stands out for the beautiful presentation and the exquisite tastes of the dishes prepared by our French chef. After that you will have some free time to get comfortable in your bungalow, or take a refreshing dip in our pool.

3:30pm: It gets time to have some first contact with the jungle. On this trek you will see a large variety of tropical trees, medicinal plants, insects, butterflies and other animals. Upon return we will make a small stop at a lookout. Here you can observe toucans, macaws and other species of birds upon your return for sunset. (Duration: between 2,5 and 3 hours). Returning to the lodge you can take a refreshing dip in the pool or have an exotic cocktail in our terrace- bar. You could also watch the sunset in the relaxing, tranquility of palm and mango trees at our port.

7pm: Before dinner we will go on a nightly boat trip, a little safari trying to spot the white caiman (caiman crocodiles) that lives in the river banks.

8pm: After the delicious dinner, those who wish can have some Smalltalk in our reclining seats or have some fun and make friends with other travelers in the bar.
Another option is to take a bath in the pool (with bar) under the shining Amazon sky and marvel at the Cross of the South.

Day 63 Day Amazon Tour - Day 2

At 5:30am we will go on a trek of about 20 min until we arrive at the parrot clay- lick. Here a minimum of five different species feeds on special clay, vital to their metabolism. It’s a truly marvelous, multicolored spectacle.

8am: Breakfast and free time to explore the splendid gardens of Corto Maltes Amazonia. We have dozens of varieties of exotic plants and flowering trees.

10:30am: Again we will navigate the Madre de Dios River. This time on an expedition destined to “Monkey Island” where some species of these interesting and entertaining animals live in freedom. Following another boat ride of 30 min we will enter the territory of the Tambopata- Candamo National Reserve. We will trek 5km through the dense vegetation of the tropical rainforest. Giant trees, snakes, monkeys, birds and sometimes even the illusive jaguar can be observed here.
Our destination is heavenly Sandoval Lake. Its privileged settings are shared by numerous species of animals: Birds (in particular Hoatzins, Kingfisher, and Cormorants), different species of monkeys (Squirrel monkeys, Howler monkeys, Capuchin monkeys). At the lake itself we can enjoy the spectacle of Giant River Otters. Black Caimans and Piranhas (sometimes we can even observe anacondas in the areas covered by reed). This is also the habitat of the giant Arapaima, a fish of more than 2,5m, weighing in at +200kg. Traveling by canoe, the sunset in the lake is a spectacular unforgettable sight. On our return to the river we might be able to spot some nocturnal animals.

8pm: The body demands rest and food after an active day in the jungle. You will enjoy the exotic tastes of our meals, especially our desserts. If you still have energy left you can share moments of music and conversation in the bar whilst having a cocktail or enjoy the sounds of the rainforest surrounding you from your hammock.

After a long day full of activity you will enjoy the comfort of you bungalows hammocks. You can also recover with a massage by the lodges’ qualified masseurs.

Day 73 Day Amazon Tour - Day 3

After breakfast its time to say goodbye to the Amazon Rainforest. Your guide will accompany you on your way back to the city. We will pass by our office again to recollect the baggage left. Following that we will visit the local market to show you agricultural products of the region; especially fruits of the Amazon. Afterwards our personnel will accompany you to the airport to take your flight to Cusco.

Upon your arrival to Cusco city, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your selected hotel.

You will have the rest of the day to spend at your own leisure.

Day 8Cusco City Tour and Surrounding Ruins

You will be greeted at the bus station in Cusco and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, one of our local guides will take you on a half day tour of the city of Cusco. You will be shown the exact center of the Inca Empire, the Plaza de Armas. There one can find the Cathedral built on the ruins of the Inca Palace. Next stop will be the old town with its magnificent renovated colonial buildings. Also in Cusco, we will visit Qorikancha, the Main Temple of the Incas, where Sun God is worshiped.

After, we will visit Sacsayhuaman, a ruins site located approximately 3 kilometers from Cusco. Sacsayhuaman also offers a fabulous view of the entire city. After that, the tour will stop shortly in Tambomachay, the bath of the Inca; Kenko, the giant rock whose niches and gaps were carved in an eccentric way; and Puca Pucara, the ruins of a fort.

Return to Cusco where you can relax, enjoy the local food and exciting nightlife.

Day 9Sacred Valley Tour

After your breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco by our representative. You will be taken along a road that winds over the mountains north of Cusco. On the way you will stop at a point known as El Mirador, from where we will be able to see the whole of the Sacred Valley and listen to the history of the Incas.

Later in the day, you will go towards Pisac, where we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Park. Here there are many different buildings, plazas, temples, pools and other structures, all built between the 10th and 11th centuries AD. After we will visit a peculiar market in Pisac. Here, you will have the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of fine crafts of various kinds, for example, ponchos, blankets, vases, hats and much more. You will have free time to walk around and do some shopping. Afterwards you will be taken to have lunch in a nice local restaurant to enjoy some great Andean food.

After lunch you will continue the tour and be driven along the Urubamba River towards the town of Ollantaytambo. Here you will visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo, an important Inca construction built during the Inca’s most powerful times.

After the tour you will take the Expedition train to Aguas Calientes (Optional upgrade: Vistadome or Hiram Bingham train).

On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

Day 10Machu Picchu Tour

After breakfast, you will take one of the buses up the steep mountain to the famous town of Machu Picchu, also known as, the Lost City of the Incas.

You will be taken on an official tour of Machu Picchu to see the most important parts of the Inca city. (Optional: hike up Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. This will allow you to have more time in Machu Picchu).

Machu Picchu is a magical, mysterious place that for nearly a century has intrigued archaeologists and visitors alike. Perched atop a steep, emerald green peak 8,000 feet high in the Andes in southern Peru, it is reachable only by a long road that zigzags up the slope from the roaring Urubamba river, or alternatively, by hiking for days along the challenging Inca Trail. Visitors to Machu Picchu will see well-preserved ruins hidden among the majestic Andes: palaces, baths, temples, tombs, sundials and farming terraces, along with llamas that roam among hundreds of gray granite houses.

Lunch is included in Aguas Calientes (Optional upgrade: lunch in the luxury Belmond Sanctuary Lodge located just outside of Machu Picchu).

In the late afternoon, you will return to Cusco on the Expedition train. On arrival to Cusco, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11Departure from Cusco and Flight to Buenos Aires

In the morning, you will be picked up and transferred from your hotel to Cusco airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires (via Lima).

Upon your arrival to Buenos Aires airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

You will have the rest of the day to spend at your own leisure.

Day 12Buenos Aires City Tour

Breakfast at hotel. On this tour, you will get to know the different places where Evita and Carlos Gardel spent their time. You will also visit the landmarks of Buenos Aires, such as; the Obelisk, the Congress, Plaza de Mayo and Plaza San Martín.

We will go down the avenues; Alvear, Corrientes, 9 de Julio and also neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo, Belgrano, Palermo, Recoleta Cemetery and Puerto Madero.

You will get to know the commercial and financial areas of the city and the Football Stadium. We will also visit the famous Evita Museum (Tuesday to Sunday only).

Lunch included in Puerto Madero.

Day 13Tigre and Delta Tour

Breakfast at hotel.

You will be taken on a beautiful boat ride between the natural paradise of the Tigre Delta islands. We will have lunch at a riverfront restaurant and then go on to visit the Puerto de Frutos.

Highlights: on the way back to Buenos Aires, we will see the Buenos Aires’ north area mansions and the Quinta de Olivos (place of settlement of Argentina’s President). On Sundays, tourists may end their tour at San Telmo’s arts and crafts market. The order of the places to be visited may be modified.

Day 14Flight Buenos Aires to Ushuaia

You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport to take your flight to Ushuaia. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to spend at your own leisure.

Day 15Ushuaia City Tour and End of the World Museum

You will be picked up from your hotel to start the city tour. This tour will take you to see the major tourist attractions in the city, including the old area of the city, the port and the steep streets that hike the mountains.

The tour ends at the End of the World Museum, which displays the history of the first adventurers, pirates and natives at the different exhibition halls. Moreover, the museum’s library features a wide selection of more than 3400 books related to ethnography, history and Tierra del Fuego’s nature.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 16Trekking and Canoeing at Tierra del Fuego National Park

After having breakfast, we will depart from the hotel in minibus towards Tierra del Fuego National Park and Ensenada Zarategui, where we will be able to appreciate incredible views of Beagle Channel.

We will then start trekking through the Shore Path (Senda Costera). The 7-kilometer journey will allow us to appreciate the wide range of flora and fauna that is located in the Beagle Channel, the fueguino forest and old Yamanas settlements, who are the local natives.

After 3 hours of hiking we will reach Roca Lake, where we will have a hot lunch. After lunch, we will continue with our trip in “dukies” along the Lapatia River. This River allows us to get closer to our main objective, Lapatia Bay where the Panamericana Highway joins with Number 3 National Route.

We will return to Ushuaia by minibus and back to your hotel.

Day 17Flight Ushuaia to Iguazu

You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport to take your flight to Iguazu. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to spend at your own leisure.

Day 18Iguazu Falls Tour - Argentinian side

Breakfast at hotel. Argentine falls: Excursion to the Argentine falls, where you will visit the traditional circuits: Superior Walk, Inferior Walk and The Garganta del Diablo. The tour includes the Ecological Train of the Jungle. Inferior Tour: this 1,200-meter circular promenade makes it possible to observe most of the waterfalls and distant views of the Garganta del Diablo and Brazilian waterfalls. The duration of this trip will be approximately 2 hours. This walk has a high level of difficulty due to the number of stairs.

Superior Walk: a walk of 1,300 meters (roundtrip). The elevated footbridges will take you to the edge of the main jumps. The duration of this walk will be 1 hour and of the three traditional rides, it is the one that requires less physical effort. It does not have stairs.

Garganta del Diablo: will be accessed through the Ecological Train of the Jungle, descending at Garganta del Diablo Station. There is a crossing of 1,100 meters, leading to the large balconies located next to the edge and in front of the Garganta del Diablo. The duration of this trip will be approximately 2 hours. It does not have stairs.

Day 19Iguazu Falls Tour - Brazilian side

Breakfast at hotel.

Brazilian falls: Excursion to Brazilian falls visiting its traditional footbridge with the wonderful panoramic views. The length of the footbridges is 1,200 meters, where you will have a spectacular panoramic view of the 275 falls that make up the Iguazú Falls. The most important falls on the Brazilian side are; Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamín Constant and Salto Unión or Garganta of the Devil.

After the tour you will have access to the panoramic elevator that will allow you to get to the bus that will leave it again in the access portal.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires or to your selected destination.
