You will be welcomed at Lima airport by our representative who will then transfer you in a private vehicle to your selected hotel in Lima.
You will have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own leisure. If you arrive in Lima early in the morning, then you can do a half day Lima city tour in the afternoon (ask one of our travel advisers for more information).
Overnight in Lima
Early in the morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the bus station where you will take a luxury bus (Cruz del Sur) from Lima to Paracas. On arrival to the bus station in Paracas, you will be greeted and you will start the Paracas National Reserve tour.
After entering the Paracas National Reserve, our first stop is Sequion Beach where we will appreciate a great variety of migratory birds. Later, we will arrive at the north of the peninsula where trekking really begins. We will walk along the shores of the peninsula for over 30 minutes, being stunned by the beauty of the cliffs and landscapes. From our position we will be able to see the Ballestas islands, the Chincha islands and Isla Blanca. Then we will walk inland trough a canyon and will lose the vision of the sea for almost 30 minutes, instead having the chance to admire the beauty of this sub-tropical desert, where the yellow, red and black colours are always present.
Finally, we will notice the San Gallan Island on the horizon, that seems to be floating in space. This fantastic natural spectacle marks the end of this long walk (2:30 hrs). We take our bus and continue the tour visiting Lagunilla Beach, where we can take a fresh bath and get a delicious lunch (not included).
After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Paracas
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the port where you will take a boat to tour around Peru’s famous Ballestas Islands.
Paracas is a national reserve located in the south of Lima. In there, is located the famous and amazing “Ballestas Islands”, where you will see a lot of beautiful families of sea lions, amazing birdlife and penguins, (yes penguins in a hot weather!) The atmosphere is great, with a wide variety of rocky formations and birds.
After the tour, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Ica, where on arrival, you will be greeted and will begin the Ica City Tour by visiting one of the “bodegas” (wineries) where the grape brandy known as pisco is produced. Here you will have a guided tour of all the facilities, so you can learn about pisco and wine and how it is produced. You will be invited to sample a range of Pisco and wine produced in the bodega and you will have the option to purchase items after.
Our tour continues with a visit to the regional museum of Ica. This important museum offers insight on all the cultures that developed in this department, and will see important collections of ceramics, textiles, mummies, deformed skulls and remains of ancient cultures.
Finally, we head to Huacachina where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and take a walk around and take photos of the desert landscape. This place is surrounded by large dunes allows visitors to do activities like sandboarding.
OPTIONAL: The Dune Buggy circuit is 20 km long. We will find dunes of up to 70 meters tall that will be climbed in just seconds. The adrenaline filled ride includes riding some of the biggest dunes in the area.
Also, you will be able to increase your adrenaline by sandboarding down these massive sand dunes. If you just want to relax around the Oasis, then you can enjoy one of the local restaurants and bars whilst watching the sunset.
After the tour, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Nazca, where on arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Nazca
After breakfast you will be transferred to the aerodrome to fly over the amazing Nazca lines.
From up in the plane you will be able to view the spectacular figures that have been etched into the earth. There are over 70 animal and plant drawings and over 300 geometric figures. Some of the drawings represent a monkey, a spider, a hummingbird, an astronaut, a whale and many more. They have been preserved for almost 2000 years, according to specialists.
After the tour, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the overnight bus (reclinable seats) to Arequipa.
Overnight on bus
On your arrival to Arequipa, our representative will welcome you and you will be transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon, you will begin your Arequipa city tour in the historical center, visiting the Santa Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit Church of La Compañia and its beautifully-painted Chapel, the Church of San Francisco, the San Lazaro District, Selva Alegre and the typical Districts of Cayma and Yanahuara for a breathtaking view of the Misti Volcano.
After the city tour you will return to your hotel.
Overnight in Arequipa
After breakfast, you will start your trip to the Colca Canyon, taking the Yura’s highway that border the snow-capped mountain Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas (Reserve of White Wash and Salt Mines); the habitat of the Vicuñas. You will be able to see Alpacas and the flora from this region.
After lunch, you will arrive to Chivay Town and will be transferred to your hotel.
In the evening, you can enjoy a dinner and a dance show with typical Peruvian dances.
Overnight in Colca Canyon
After an early breakfast, you will visit the “Cross of the Condor”, where you will be able to observe one of the deepest Canyons of the world and where we can appreciate the impressive and majestic flight of the Andean Condors. On the way back to Chivay you will pass through small villages like, Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma and Yanque.
Buffet lunch is included in Chivay.
After the tour you will be transferred to the station to take the bus to Puno. On arrival to Puno, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Puno
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Puno in the morning, to take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating “Islands” of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe, have built their own “islands” by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed unique to the area called “Totora”. Their homes and boats are also made from this material.
You will then proceed to Taquile islands, where its inhabitants are dedicated to agriculture and have developed an original form of “communal tourism”, in which visitors share their food, homes, customs and traditions.
Lunch included on Taquile Island.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight in Puno
In the morning, you will be transferred to the bus station where you will take the sightseeing bus to Cusco. On the way there, you will have a full day tour and visit Pukara, La Raya, Sicuani (buffet lunch included), Raqchi and Andahuaylillas.
After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.
Overnight in Cusco
In the afternoon, one of our local guides will take you on a half day tour of the city of Cusco. You will be shown the exact center of the Inca Empire, the Plaza de Armas. There one can find the Cathedral built on the ruins of the Inca Palace. Next stop will be the old town with its magnificent renovated colonial buildings. Also in Cusco, we will visit Qorikancha, the Main Temple of the Incas, where Sun God is worshiped.
After, we will visit Sacsayhuaman, a ruins site located approximately 3 kilometers from Cusco. Sacsayhuaman also offers a fabulous view of the entire city. After that, the tour will stop shortly in Tambomachay, the bath of the Inca; Kenko, the giant rock whose niches and gaps were carved in an eccentric way; and Puca Pucara, the ruins of a fort.
Return to Cusco where you can relax, enjoy the local food and exciting nightlife.
Overnight in Cusco
After your breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco by our representative. You will be taken along a road that winds over the mountains north of Cusco. On the way you will stop at a point known as El Mirador, from where we will be able to see the whole of the Sacred Valley and listen to the history of the Incas.
Later in the day, you will go towards Pisac, where we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Park. Here there are many different buildings, plazas, temples, pools and other structures, all built between the 10th and 11th centuries AD. After we will visit a peculiar market in Pisac. Here, you will have the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of fine crafts of various kinds, for example, ponchos, blankets, vases, hats and much more. You will have free time to walk around and do some shopping. Afterwards you will be taken to have lunch in a nice local restaurant to enjoy some great Andean food.
After lunch you will continue the tour and be driven along the Urubamba River towards the town of Ollantaytambo. Here you will visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo, an important Inca construction built during the Inca’s most powerful times.
After the tour you will take the Expedition train to Aguas Calientes (Optional upgrade: Vistadome or Hiram Bingham train).
On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, you will take one of the buses up the steep mountain to the famous town of Machu Picchu, also known as, the Lost City of the Incas.
You will be taken on an official tour of Machu Picchu to see the most important parts of the Inca city. (Optional: hike up Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. This will allow you to have more time in Machu Picchu).
Machu Picchu is a magical, mysterious place that for nearly a century has intrigued archaeologists and visitors alike. Perched atop a steep, emerald green peak 8,000 feet high in the Andes in southern Peru, it is reachable only by a long road that zigzags up the slope from the roaring Urubamba river, or alternatively, by hiking for days along the challenging Inca Trail. Visitors to Machu Picchu will see well-preserved ruins hidden among the majestic Andes: palaces, baths, temples, tombs, sundials and farming terraces, along with llamas that roam among hundreds of gray granite houses.
Lunch is included in Aguas Calientes (Optional upgrade: lunch in the luxury Belmond Sanctuary Lodge located just outside of Machu Picchu).
In the late afternoon, you will return to Cusco on the Expedition train (Optional upgrade: Vistadome or Hiram Bingham train).. On arrival to Cusco, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Cusco airport to take your flight to Lima.
